

The purpose of this conference is to discuss the current and upcoming challenges facing federal, regional, state, and local governmental agencies in the Midwest related to transportation and air quality. Conference sessions will address SIP planning activities for the new air quality standards (e.g., mobile source emission inventories), highway project-level analyses, current diesel engine programs, climate change, mobile source air toxics, and on-going mobile source-related research studies.
The conference will begin formally at 1:00 pm CDT on October 27. (Earlier that morning, we will have optional, parallel sessions - one on EPA’s new MOVES model and one on CMAQ.) The conference will end at 11:30 am CDT on October 29.
